The Castelvecchio Nature Reserve is a wonderfully unspoiled natural habitat; is home to a castle perched on a rocky outcrop full of caves. The castle dates to the Middle Ages, but the site was also used by the Lombards and was even inhabited as far back as ancient Etruscan times and it’s only one of the many wanderful thing you’re going to discover.
Visitors can walk along the old medieval track and past the ruins of the towers, ramparts and church. The route continues through an ancient woodland with a spellbinding view across the Valdesa area.
Your guide, Bruno, has a wealth of experience and is passionate about this region. He will guide you through the mysteries and charm of the area’s delightful hilly landscape.
