The countryside between Monteriggioni and Casoled’Elsa is beautifully unspoiled and full of culture and history, as well as being off the usual tourist track.
This guided walk is of medium difficulty and 12 km long around a circular route. We leave from Scorgiano, near Monteriggioni and head towards Maggiano, with a detour to see Villa San Chimento. We then head to Mucellana, stopping off at the Pieve di Marmoraia and an Etruscan burial site, before turning back towards Scorgiano via the Nagli chapel.
The route can be personalized to suit your needs and can include a visit to a local vineyard ora workshop on how to produce honey or cheese. The experience includes guided wine tasting and, of course, great company.
