During a tough training session, Silvio Comiale found himself suddenly wondering why he always felt the need to push himself and focus on his performance statistics and results. From that day forward, he slowed down and began to appreciate the amazing views and natural tranquility that he had been ignoring all around him for years. This epiphany led him to push himself in a different direction and qualify as a MTB and Cycle Tourism Guide at the Ami Bike Maestri di Mountain Bike School.
Silvio brings his enormous cycling experience to organizing bike trips and routes for cyclists of all abilities – from families with children to the most daring mountain bikers and anyone else who loves cycling. He guides his MTB clients down off-road trails, seeking out the lesser-known spots around San Gimignano. Take a ride down the Via Francigena and along the Val d’Elsa, or visit some of the region’s most interesting towns by road bike. Silvio’s philosophy is: “have fun, enjoy and admire the countryside, food and people of this wonderful land in the spirit of curiosity and with a pinch of flexibility. Buonviaggio! (have a good trip!)”
