Medieval times live again in San Gimignano! On the 16, 17 and 18th of June will take place the rievocation called Ferie delle Messi which historical origins are dated to 1255bC to celebrate the generous harvests.
Music of drums and trumpets, falconry exibitions, parades and a lot of entertainment will embrace you in these days, while the highest splendour will be reached on Sunday with the Corteo delle Messi (Messi Procession) whit almost 500 men in typical ancient dresses.
The Medieval framework is completed by the historical craft fair, to see and admire art and craft of the ancient artisans. Obviously, tavers cannot miss!
