Loris Cecchini, winner of the contest for the realisation of Sonar – the House of Music, realisis together with Alessandro Bagella an ambitious project on the inside and the outside of the building.
The front is covered by a linoleum coating while the inside is the reign of curved lines that represent the sound waves. A thin white design on grey background coming from a tidimensional project software: the XZ axis (horizontal place) has been taken and modified by entering prospective distorsion and filters. The perception of the graphical space is emphasised by the use of Wood lamps that create the illusion of an enlarged space. A game with matter and form and an example of what contemporary art can do with existing architecture, creating a place where visual arts and music will permanently meet.
